In Kanagawa Prefecture, it was confirmed that 13 children and teachers were infected with the new coronavirus by the 20th at an elementary school in Kamakura City, and the prefecture confirmed that a group of infected people = a cluster had occurred.

According to Kamakura City, it was confirmed that female children under the age of 10 were infected with male teachers in their 30s on the 17th of this month at public elementary schools in the city.

For this reason, when children of the same grade and other faculty members underwent PCR tests, 11 children were found to be infected.

All faculty and staff were negative.

The city will temporarily close the school from the 18th to the 23rd of this month, and will inspect about 400 children of other grades on the 22nd.
