Miyazaki Prefecture and Miyazaki City have announced that 11 new cases of infection with the new coronavirus have been confirmed.
With this, the number of people confirmed to be infected in the prefecture is 657.
Miyazaki Prefecture also announced that one previously confirmed patient had died.
This is the fifth person who has died in the prefecture.
