has announced that the

Covid-19

vaccine

will begin to be administered throughout Europe on December 27, 18 and 29.

Von der Leyen has reported through Twitter the start of vaccination with a message that read: "It is time for Europe."

"We protect our citizens together. We are stronger together," said the President of the Commission.

This Tuesday, the EMA reported that it had convened an "exceptional meeting" of its

Committee for Human Medicines

(CHMP, for its acronym in English) on December 21 to "conclude if possible" its evaluation of the Pfizer vaccine and BioNTech, although it has not canceled the one scheduled for December 29.
