From October 1997 to June 2018, he worked in the southern suburbs of Datong City and served successively as deputy mayor of Zhaojiaxiaocun Township, secretary of the party committee of Majunying Township in the southern suburbs, deputy district governor of the southern suburbs government, and chairman of the District Political Consultative Conference.
