"In connection with the appeal addressed to the head of the department of the artist's daughter with a request to take control of the investigation into the circumstances of her mother's death, Alexander Bastrykin put the pre-investigation check under personal control, and also instructed the head of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for Moscow to carefully check the information contained in the appeal," says the message.
Currently, as part of the ongoing pre-investigation check on the death of the artist, a commission forensic medical examination is being carried out.
Legkostupova died on August 14 at the age of 55.
She was previously hospitalized with injuries and was in a coma.
