  On June 9, the Network Security Detachment of the Nantong Public Security Bureau received a report from the person in charge of a video website that the website had frequently experienced video freezes and downtime recently, causing huge losses and suspected of being attacked by hackers.

After electronic data forensics, a total of 17 audio and video servers and 10 relay login servers were attacked from time to time.

  After receiving the report, Nantong Internet Police found that several video platform websites across the country had suffered similar attacks, suspected of being committed by the same criminal group.

The Network Security Detachment of the Nantong Public Security Bureau, together with the Nantong Development Zone Public Security Branch, set up a special case team to conduct investigations.

  Through in-depth research and judgment on the clues involved, the task force has successively locked the true identities of 4 criminal suspects including Tang Mofei, Zhang Mojin, Qian Mocan, and Gu Mozhi.

From June 19 to 23, the task force arrested the four people and brought them to justice.

  The task force followed the vine and arrested three criminal suspects including Zhou, Liu, and Li in Xi'an, Shaanxi, Jiamusi, Heilongjiang and other places.

After investigation, Zhou and Liu were the founders of the traffic attack platform. In order to evade the attack by the public security organs, the two rented an overseas server to build a traffic attack platform in the second half of last year, and developed agents and sold member accounts. Provide external traffic attack services, illegally gaining more than one million yuan.

Li is the first-level agent of the platform and previously sold member accounts to Tang and others via the Internet.

As of the incident, the platform has accumulatively carried out traffic attacks on more than 5,000 websites across the country, with a total of 58451 times.
