Tent Pictures has selected a number of full-time interns to gain the skills needed to produce the animated films.

The production process for the film kicked off earlier this year, with hand-drawn images being assembled and audio recording in production studios in Twofour 24, Abu Dhabi's Media Makers District.

The events of the movie Catsaway revolve around a group of cats living in Abu Dhabi in the late last century, and trying to find a home for them in the multicultural city, so the viewer finds himself in front of scenes that tell the story of the historical city of Abu Dhabi in its beginnings through the classic two-dimensional animation style.
