The Waorani of Ecuador have just filed a complaint against a Chinese oil company.

Several former Waorani from the Amazon community of Miwaguno have just lodged a complaint against the Chinese oil company PetroOriental.
This subsidiary of the two Chinese giants CNPC and SINOPEC operates crude oil in block 14 in the Ecuadorian Amazon.
With the support of the NGO Action Ecologique, the Waoranis demand that the torches of the deposits be extinguished in the name of the fight against climate change.
