Monday, December 14, after more than three hours of discussions with the participants of the Citizen's Climate Convention, Emmanuel Macron announced the organization of a referendum on the introduction of the defense of the climate and the environment in the Constitution.

One condition, however: that the National Assembly and the Senate accept the principle in the same terms.
