Nursing home residents will be the first in France to benefit from the Covid-19 vaccine.

Almost imminent kick-off.

In early January 2021, France will launch its vast national vaccination campaign against Covid-19.

And the first stage of the strategy developed by the government provides for priority vaccination of the most vulnerable.

The first to benefit from the vaccine in France will therefore be residents of nursing homes, severely affected by the coronavirus since the start of the epidemic.

This reassures residents who fear contracting the disease and their loved ones, who often feel powerless from a distance.

Or to worry, some fearing that the elderly do not play a role of "guinea pigs" in the face of these new vaccines.

But first, we must wait for the European Medicines Agency to issue marketing authorizations for these vaccines, which should be completed by the end of the year.

While information on the safety of these vaccines is being communicated progressively, the data published to date attest to their efficacy and safety.

And you what do you think ?

Do you have a close relative in Ehpad?

How do you see this upcoming vaccination for him or her?

Does this reassure you or do you have concerns?

Did you talk about it with your parents in nursing homes?

Are they confident or reluctant in the face of these new anti-Covid vaccines?

Tell us.
