After a three-week break in the trial against clan chief Arafat Abou-Chaker, the rapper Bushido continued his testimony and described an alleged attack on himself.

He was threatened, insulted, locked up and attacked with a water bottle in an office, the musician told the Berlin district court on Monday.

The blow came "because I didn't want to accept that I should pay him for the rest of my life," said the 42-year-old.

Before that, he silently accepted massive insults against his family and himself.

"It hurt me so much - I ran tears."

The rapper is a witness and co-plaintiff in the proceedings against a total of four members of the well-known Berlin-based Abou-Chaker family.

The public prosecutor's office assumes that crimes have come to his disadvantage after Bushido terminated business relationships with Arafat Abou-Chaker in 2017.

According to the indictment, the clan chief did not want to accept this and unjustifiably demanded that Bushido pay his alleged debts and participate in his music business in the millions.

The clan chief is said to have insulted, harassed and slightly injured the musician.

Shouted at, the door locked and the keys inserted

The alleged attack in an office is said to have occurred in January 2018.

Arafat Abou-Chaker “quoted” him, according to the rapper.

He assumed that they would talk about the end of the business relationship.

But Arafat Abou-Chaker yelled at him, locked the door and put the keys in.

Bushido is said to have been held in the office for more than four hours.

Most recently, he was attacked with a chair and hit in the shoulder, according to the prosecution.

The public prosecutor's office accuses the main defendant, a former music business partner of Bushido, with attempted grave robbery, deprivation of liberty, assault, coercion and insult.
