Iwate Prefecture has announced that one elderly patient has been confirmed dead among patients infected with the new coronavirus.

Nine people have died in Iwate prefecture.

In addition, Iwate Prefecture and Morioka City announced that seven new people have been confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus.

So far, 302 people have been confirmed infected in the prefecture.
