The exhibition "Works in Production", organized by the "Belib" platform, in cooperation with "Aisha Al-Abbar Gallery", presented an overview of works of art that are still incomplete or more expressive of the productive stage the work is going through, and the existing possibilities for its completion or addition. .

The exhibition, which will last until January 10 next year, was attended by: Abeer Tabbara, Afra Al Suwaidi, Lamia Al Shamsi, Sheikha Al Shamsi and Shama Al Ameri, where each of the participating artists presented works that are very attached to expressing personal life or the societal issues surrounding them, as they were. Regarding the "bleep" platform and how it provides technical guidance, the artist, Shamma Al Ameri, founder of the platform, said:

Production, with the aim of focusing on the audience's interaction with it and listening to constructive criticism.

Al-Amiri confirmed that this platform opens the door to study and delve into the work, as well as how to benefit from the interaction of the public with work to add to it, explaining that the program does not require any kind of conditions, but a specific amount is paid to the guide, with the aim of making the artistic field a productive field and not just a hobby.

Director Nujoom Al-Ghanim, who participated in the artistic guidance on the platform, said about her participation and the platform: “As a director and expert in the field of artistic films that I have presented, as well as from my studies of fine arts as a minor course at the university, I can say that the platform is an important individual initiative in the field of art. , It aims to serve the community and young artists, and encourages them to develop and deepen their ideas and enhance their artistic approach, and out of traditional frameworks to other, more open worlds that go beyond the stereotypical forms in art.

Al-Ghanim considered that every artist has his own journey of learning and experience, as he must learn, read and experiment, in order to reach a level that is satisfied with him, and his works reach the level of professionalism, explaining that the nature of guidance depends on the artists themselves and their abilities and projects, and she is assured that through counseling seeks to help Artists discover new visions through workshops, work on different materials and research areas that belong to the project, enhance and deepen it, and then work on research and experiments that will be reflected in the visual art that will be produced.

Regarding the importance of guidance in the artistic field, Al-Ghanim pointed out that art is produced by a special process, as creativity in all its forms always takes an individual form, and its journey starts from the individual to the verification, and sometimes the production phase requires working with other people to complete the production of work and deliver it to the appropriate place, so research has its framework. The cognitive is a research that may be archaeological, philosophical, scientific, or has a relationship in space, and it depends on the artistic project that the artist is working on, and through the topic the search for areas that help the artist to enter and develop it, in order to deepen the artwork and take other dimensions.

For her part, the artist Afra Al-Suwaidi chose to participate in the program, because she is looking at a very important topic, which is “physical harassment,” noting that through the works she raises the psychological state of children who are subjected to harassment, and how to deal with them.

She emphasized that she had tried to bring up the debate through art, but she needed someone to support her at the starting point.

She pointed out that she dealt with some symbols in her artistic project, because she wants to open the door to dialogue, especially since she has lived through many stories on the topic of harassment, considering that when she researched the Women and Children Foundation, she found that there are very few stories related to citizens, and therefore the work helps to Create dialogue and talk more clearly.

The artist, Lamia Al Shamsi, participated in a work presenting the transmission of cultures from her grandmother to her mother and then to her. It is entitled "The Three", and it talks about three generations, and expresses the inherited ideas and customs, and everything that is transmitted over the generations and time.

She pointed out that she expresses herself and how she had to choose between completing what she inherited or building a new life, explaining that she used materials that symbolize each generation, including the fabrics that her grandmother loved, and the nature that her mother loved, and then put the materials that express it differently, to Besides the pictures that express each generation.

Al Shamsi confirmed that her participation in the platform comes with the aim of benefiting from the mentors, noting that as an artist, she is not afraid to present personal experiences in art, despite the presence of disclosure to the public, she presented her life and the life of her mother, considering that art represents the artist's story.

Director Nujoom Al-Ghanim emphasized the keen interest that the leadership in the UAE attaches to visual arts, especially plastic arts, noting that the new generation has had great and excellent opportunities to present and develop its creations, whether through governmental or quasi-governmental initiatives that aim to develop artists in a thoughtful manner. Stressing that the initiatives motivate artists to present their best, because all the capabilities are available to them, and this leads to the development of experiences as a whole.
