On December 13, Beijing, the memorial event for the National Memorial Day for the victims of the Nanjing Massacre and the special exhibition "Patriotic War in the Lens of Female Photojournalists" was held at the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japan Memorial Hall.

This thematic exhibition is jointly sponsored by the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the Russian Embassy in China. It displays 107 photos taken by 7 well-known Soviet female photojournalists, covering the front and rear of the war, post-war reconstruction, victory parade, etc. Most of the scenes are publicly exhibited for the first time in the world.

At the memorial activities, the attendees expressed their condolences and remembrance to the compatriots and heroes who died in the Nanjing Massacre and the World Anti-Fascist War through silent mourning and flower offerings.
