Gunma Prefecture announced on the 12th that it was confirmed that 40 new people were infected with the new coronavirus in the prefecture.
He also announced that two men in their 70s and 50s who had been hospitalized had died.
Both of them had an underlying illness.
The number of people confirmed to be infected in the prefecture is now 1612, of which 26 have died.
