Maurane Mazars

is a gifted new French-speaking comic strip.

Two years ago, she received the Rodolphe Töpfler Prize from the city of Geneva for “Acouphène”, her first achievement all in black and white which spoke to us about a young artist - a cellist - at a turning point in his life, between learning his art and learning about life.

She then received in Brussels the Raymond-Leblanc Prize, named after the founder of the newspaper Tintin, for a colorful project that also spoke of a young artist, a dancer this time, at a turning point in his life, between learning his art and learning about life.

The project was called “Tanz!”, It became a graphic novel published by Éditions du Lombard.
