In-store refund
The products of the Bonduelle brand are the main affected.
But lots of the Système U, Auchan and Saint Eloi brand (sold at Intermarché) also appear on the recall notice and have been withdrawn from the shelves.
Consumers are encouraged to destroy salads that may carry the bacteria.
They can also return them to the store for a refund.
As a reminder, salmonella can cause gastrointestinal disturbances (diarrhea, vomiting, abdominal pain) and fever.
Symptoms, which appear between 6 to 72 hours after eating the carrier food, can be more serious in children.
In all cases, it is strongly recommended to consult a doctor in the event of ingestion of a contaminated food.
