China News Service, Chengdu, December 11 (Wang Pengyue Yitong) A reporter learned from a special conference on epidemic prevention and control held by the Information Office of the Chengdu Municipal People’s Government on the evening of the 11th that as of 18:00 today, Chengdu has completed a total of 1,458,900 nucleic acid samples. A total of 1,361,105 people were tested, of which 11 were positive (except for the first case) and 1,361,093 were negative. The remaining results are yet to be released.
According to Liu Yinyong, the mayor of Pidu District, Chengdu, as of 18:00 on December 11, Pidu District has quarantined 169 close contacts and 508 second-secret contacts.
On December 10, Pidu conducted a second sampling of 11 village communities including Taiping Village.
At 23:00 on December 10, after Li was diagnosed, the Pidu District sampled the entire area of Xipu Street. The results have been 197684 people, and the results are all negative. The rest will be released.
In addition, Liu Yinyong said that Xipu Street has never been closed, and citizens can pass normally.
Today, a professional collection team of more than 4,000 people from 21 districts (counties) of Chengdu has assembled in Pidu District, and more than 900,000 people in Pidu District will be sampled within 24 hours.
