Disney prepares the origin story of Buzz Lightyear from "Toy Story"

Towards infinity and beyond… While

Toy Story 4

marked the end of the saga started in 1995 by John Lasseter, during the Disney Investor Day conference this Thursday in the United States, Pixar studios announced that a spin -off of Buzz Lightyear's youth-centric Toy Story was in the works.

Entitled

, the feature film will be directed by Angus MacLane, co-director of World of Dory and director of the
