Rapper and singer Gims has made his sunglasses, like Michel Polnareff and Philippe Maneuver before him, a real trademark.

The artist, who owns about fifty, reveals in "It feels good" some secrets about this object that he removes more often than one might imagine.

INTERVIEW

Do you know what Gims looks like without his glasses?

There is very little chance, as the rapper never removes them during his public appearances.

The artist, who released his new album

Le fléau

in

early December

, even owns about fifty of them.

Gims nevertheless reveals that this object worries him for his health, one of the reasons why he withdraws them as soon as he is in a private setting.

But not only.

He withdraws them during his concerts

Gims also takes off his glasses in public ... to go incognito.

One of his favorite games is to take them off, put on an orange jacket and greet his audience entering his concert hall.

"I change into a security guard," he explains.

"It's super funny to see, nobody recognizes me. Because you tell yourself that it's impossible that it is me who makes the security of my concert."

His glasses worry him

The rapper is worried, however, that the intensive wearing of sunglasses will damage his eyesight.

"There are rumors that I shower with my glasses on," he smiles.

"But in reality in life I am more often without than with my glasses".

He even plans to see an ophthalmologist to verify that his passion is not a problem.

"I don't know if it's dangerous for the eyes, but I think so, anyway," he adds.

He would pull them off for a movie

Perhaps the best way to see Gims without glasses will soon be to go to the cinema.

The singer does not hide his desire to shoot in a film.

A desire for which he would be "quite ready" to remove his legendary sunglasses.

He is therefore waiting to be contacted by a director.
