On December 9, a number of taxi drivers lined up for testing at a taxi driver testing center in Chai Wan, Hong Kong.

Starting from the same day, the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region government has forced taxi drivers to be tested for the new crown virus, and taxi drivers can be tested for free at 13 testing centers.

Taxi drivers who start work from December 25 to next month must have a negative test report, otherwise they will be fined HK$5,000.
