The Tokyo Metropolitan Government has put together a draft outline of the outline of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government's educational policy from next year and the third year of Reiwa, and includes the use of ICT to maximize the power of children.

The outline of the "Education Policy Outline", which will be the policy of the city's education policy from next year, was reported on the 10th at a meeting attended by Governor Koike and five members of the Board of Education.

Among these, it is important to learn to maximize the power of each child by utilizing ICT.

On top of that, in addition to making use of the digitization that is accelerating due to the spread of the new coronavirus infection in educational settings, it is necessary to constantly work to improve the leadership of teachers in order to support such learning.

Governor Koike said, "Education is starting to go online. I want to promote education in Tokyo with the idea that children will not stop learning under any circumstances and will bring smiles to their faces."

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government plans to announce the outline of educational measures by March next year after listening to the opinions of children and citizens based on this outline plan.
