At the end of August, the Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO), Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, for the first time mentioned the condition of patients with long-term symptoms after contamination with Sars-Cov-2.

He called for recognition of their disease and better studies on their after-effects.
