"Dubai Opera" hosted Italian international singer Andrea Bocelli, in a historical concert under the title "Peace Celebration", to celebrate peace in the region, with the participation of a group of Emirati musicians, the international maestro Carlo Bernini, the Israeli singer Eden Reichle, and a group of Israeli artists, to strengthen the foundations of coexistence. The ceremony, which was held on the sidelines of the activities of "GITEX Technology Week", bears a true embodiment of the economic recovery from the Corona virus pandemic, and the return of the cultural and business sectors to the city’s front, one of the most important global cultural destinations, thanks to the exceptional cultural activities and projects hosted by Dubai throughout the year.
Hilal Saeed Al Marri, Director-General of the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing in Dubai (Dubai Tourism), said: “Consolidating the values of tolerance and coexistence among societies and peoples is the best way to overcome common challenges facing the world, and hosting (Dubai Opera) for the concert of international opera singer Andrea Bocelli and singer. The Israeli, Eden Reichle, affirms Dubai's position as a global center for peace in the region, cultural diversity and a leading destination for hosting international events.
