A Belgian chef found a solution to the issue of his restaurant being unable to open due to measures to confront the Covid-19 pandemic, so he decided to receive his customers in the parking lot of his restaurant, but .. in camping cars or trips.

"We came to the only open restaurant in Belgium," said Francoise Jandoubien, while savoring seafood with her husband in their caravan. "The formula adopted by it is unique and we were impressed and fascinated by us."

About 10 campers were present that evening in the parking lot of "Matthias and Sea", a restaurant in Tarsien, in the province of Namur (southern Belgium), specializing in seafood.

The risk of infection with the Corona virus does not exist in this place, as the waiter carries the dishes prepared in the kitchen, covered with aluminum foil, and delivers them to the car door, while respecting the spacing measures.

Inside the car, each family remains committed to its social bubble, as if it were at home, but the difference is that it is with this meal in the restaurant, breaking the monotony of the stone.

Chef Mattia Colo has not only converted the car park into a restaurant lounge, but also a hotel, as customers can sleep on site and, if they like, rent the caravan.

The restaurant formula, according to the "Drive-In" road, has met with great demand from customers, as many are fed up with staying home.

This coincided with the demand for owning campers in the whole of Europe.

"We can finally go eat somewhere, even if at our own table," André Dix said.
