Analysis using mobile phone data revealed that there are tourist destinations near Tokyo where the number of people has increased compared to last week.

"Agoop", an IT-related company, estimates the number of people in each region in a way that does not identify individuals, based on the location information of mobile phones collected with the permission of users.



Comparing the number of people in various parts of the Kanto region on the 5th and 6th with the Saturday and Sunday of the previous week at 3:00 pm, there were places where the number of people was increasing in tourist spots near Tokyo.

▽ Atami Onsen in Shizuoka Prefecture by 28%, and


▽ Katase Nishihama Beach in Kanagawa Prefecture by 22%

On the other hand, there were many places where no significant increase or decrease was seen around major stations and downtown areas, with
