December 3 is the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.

Fujian Province has launched the country's first provincial-level tactile map, serving 356,000 visually impaired people in the province.

On the 3rd, the children from the Fuzhou School for the Blind used Braille touch points to find out Fuzhou, Quanzhou, and Xiamen on this special map. The hometowns at their fingertips made them very happy.

This blind map was initiated by Fuzhou Xiaoshan Public Welfare and was developed in collaboration with Fujian Cartographic Institute.

Guo Bing, the head of Fuzhou Xiaoshan's public welfare, is a philanthropist in a wheelchair.

Guo Bing said that a map for the blind is like a braille dot on the renminbi, which expresses the country's equal and respectful attitude towards the visually impaired. "Anyone should enjoy this right to pursue a better life."
