On December 2, the civilian police of the Gezhouba Branch of the Public Security Bureau of Yichang City, Hubei Province coordinated with more than 200 armed police, fire rescue, and security personnel to conduct a water anti-terrorism actual combat drill at the Gezhouba hub for the first time.
The exercise assumes that two personnel drove a rubber boat into the security waters illegally, and the hub security forces quickly carried out containment, encirclement and suppression, in order to test the hub security forces' rapid response, rapid assembly, pursuit and interception, siege and disposal capabilities.
The Gezhouba Water Control Project is located at the end of the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River and is the first large-scale hydropower station on the Yangtze River.
