"On my mother's life, it's Philippe Vandel!"

Journalist Philippe Vandel is no exception.

Jamel Debbouze greets him by shouting "Philippe Vandel! On my mother's life, it's Philippe Vandel on the phone!", Thus triggering the latter's laughter.

The comedian then continues to winnow his journalist friend: "Oh yeah, you like me, when we usually talk to each other and I have a billion files on your face!"

Jamel Debbouze, after having regained his seriousness, explains that he did not finally stop working in 2020, despite the health crisis.

"We had to organize and rehearse this gala," he recalls.

"We also had the chance to play this summer in Cannes, outdoors."

The comedian is sorry for the situation in the middle of the show, but is delighted to have the string of television in his bow to compensate.
