With our guest this morning, we are talking about the situation in Cabo Delgado, this province in northern Mozambique which has known for 3 years attacks by jihadists claiming to be part of the Islamic State group.

The situation has deteriorated there in recent weeks.

The number of displaced people has exceeded 350,000, and the number of civilian deaths is already twice as high as in 2019. Mirko Manzoni is the UN Secretary General's special envoy to Mozambique.

Online from Maputo, he replied to François Mazet.
