This was reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the Kamchatka Volcanic Eruption Response Group (KVERT) of the Institute of Volcanology and Seismology of the Far Eastern Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

It is noted that this is the second ash ejection of the volcano in a day.

The ash plume spread 45 km northeast of the volcano.

On October 30, in Kamchatka, the Karymsky volcano threw out a column of ash to a height of 6 km above sea level.
