Violet sky in Sweden because of "tomatoes"

Residents of a Swedish town were surprised, when they saw the sky had taken on a purple hue, which aroused their curiosity to know the reason behind the matter.

According to the British newspaper "Daily Mail", this color in the town of Trelleborg was emitted from a tomato farm.

The source pointed out that this was repeated at night in the town on the southern coast of Sweden.

This phenomenon resulted mainly from the installation of an economic energy system in one of the largest tomato farms in the country, which is self-sufficient in energy.

In Jeslof, a village 10 minutes east of Trelleborg, the dependence of tomato production on the economic energy system emits purple light.

Experts say this light is beneficial for farming, as it also helps extend the tomato production season.

But a number of residents of the towns of Jeslof and Trelleborg lodged complaints, expressing their dissatisfaction, because the light was shining towards their homes.
