[Explanation] The reporter learned from the Yunnan Dehong Border Management Detachment on November 28 that, through special investigations, ambushes and interceptions, the detachment seized a large-scale drug smuggling case at the China-Myanmar border, arrested one suspect and seized 74.6 kilograms of opium drugs.

  [Explanation] According to the police handling the case, in mid-November, the Yingjiang Border Management Brigade of the Dehong Border Management Detachment in Yunnan received a report saying: Someone bought a batch of drugs from abroad and will enter the country.

  After receiving the clues, we immediately organized a task force to go deep into the front line of the border to conduct investigations, and deployed multiple interception teams to guard key sections of the border to block its internal flow passages.

  [Explanation] At about 21:10 on the day of the incident, a suspicious motorcycle drove slowly into the investigation area along a mountain road in the direction of the border. The police immediately stepped forward to identify it and asked it to stop for inspection.

Upon seeing this, the driver immediately jumped off the motorcycle and fled hurriedly into the dense forest on the side of the road.

The police then fired a warning shot in the sky, and began to encircle, pursue, intercept, and arrest the suspect in one fell swoop.

  Subsequently, the police seized the 39 opium regiment, with a net weight of 74.6 kg, from the woven bag tied to the motorcycle on the spot.

  [Explanation] After interrogation, the suspect, Yu Mou, confessed to the facts of drug trafficking, and is currently under criminal detention in accordance with the law.
