[Explanation] Recently, the fourth wave of new crown pneumonia outbreaks occurred in Hong Kong. The Hong Kong Federation of Trade Unions launched a survey of Hong Kong citizens through an online questionnaire from November 24 to 26. We learned from the public that they applaud or disagree with the mandatory national test. We found that 80% of them strongly agree, and 17% of them agree.

A total of 97% of the interviewees strongly agreed to implement mandatory (national) testing to cut off the transmission chain of the community.

Our second question is that if we want to effectively control the epidemic, we must cooperate with compulsory national testing. We must also cooperate with the closure of the city on the 14th, and the proposal of closing the city on the 14th, 90% of our interviewees agree and Agree, we do this.

[Explanation] Hong Kong Legislative Council Member Mai Meijuan explained that even after the test, even if the diagnosis is not confirmed, there is still a chance to cause cross-infection through contact with people. The implementation of national testing must cooperate with city lockdown measures to effectively reduce transmission.

She emphasized that the fourth wave of the epidemic in Hong Kong has been fierce recently, and the SAR government must decisively introduce relevant measures to lead the public with greater determination to overcome the epidemic and return the lives of the people to normal as soon as possible.
