The second of December this year will witness the UAE's celebrations of the 49th National Day.
On this special occasion, Dubai is witnessing a huge festival that includes many shopping activities, retail shows, concerts and family entertainment programs, organized by the Dubai Festivals and Retail Corporation between November 28 and December 5.
The event, which lasts for eight days and coincides with a long public holiday, will showcase the most prominent experiences in Dubai from festive shows and world-class entertainment activities in the largest and most popular tourist destinations in the city.

Dubai, finally, launched the "Dubai Guarantee" seal, to guarantee all health and safety rules.
The Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment is sharing a list of the best offers and discounts in stores and malls across Dubai during the National Day celebrations:
Hotel offers
A range of hotel accommodations in Dubai are preparing, from the most luxurious resorts to hotels. The offers include accommodation at the Sheraton Mall of the Emirates Hotel in a standard room for 449 dirhams, excluding taxes and fees, or a family suite for 749 dirhams excluding taxes and fees and breakfast included. And vouchers to visit "Ski Dubai" and two tickets to the Magic Planet lounge, and discounts prices of 20% on food and drinks for members of the loyalty program from "Marriott".
The "H" Hotel on Sheikh Zayed Road offers its visitors a free entry to "Nikki Beach Resort and Spa", at prices starting from 349 dirhams per night.

"Modhesh and Dana" presents an exclusive and special show directly at "La Perle", to celebrate the National Day. The show is held twice a day between the first and the fifth of December at 6:30 pm and 9:30 pm.
The longest live comedy evening in Dubai, "The Laughter Factory", returns to present six new comedy shows hosted by a group of the best talents on the third and fourth of December at the Mövenpick Hotel Jumeirah Beach Residence.
Michael Rosenberg, a singer-songwriter known as Basinger, will perform live on December 4th at Dubai Opera.
The popular performing arts destination "The Fridge" will host on November 30 the 33rd edition of the musical series "The Fridge Concert".
The most popular destinations
A number of Dubai's most iconic landmarks will be lit every evening, from November 28 to December 5, as part of the National Day celebrations.
The Dubai frame in Zabeel Park displays the congratulatory messages on this occasion, while the Burj Al Arab Hotel in Jumeirah is illuminated with the colors of the Emirati flag from 7 pm until 11 pm.
Mobile entertainment shows
National Day celebrations are spread all over, with a bouquet of special live shows from the first to the fifth of December.
Families will have the opportunity to spend the most beautiful times watching the traditional performances, which contribute to introducing the audience to the culture of the Emirates, such as the "Al Harbiyya" band, while all shows adhere to the rules of social distancing in full.

MBC concerts
As part of the celebrations of the 49th National Day of the United Arab Emirates, the Dubai Festivals and Retail Foundation and MBC Group invite Emirati and Arab music lovers to a two-day concert, hosted by some of the most prominent artists in the UAE and the region.
On the second of December, Burj Park, in the downtown area of Dubai, will host a performance by Balkis and Mohammed Al Shehhi, who is known for his poetic songs and Gulf music.
On the third of December, the audience will have a date with the superstar Aida Al Minhali, in addition to the actress Shamma Hamdan, the first Emirati to reach the finals of the "Arabs Got Talent" program.
The park "Burj Park" welcomes visitors to attend the two evenings, provided free registration in advance.
Retail trade events
Various shopping centers and destinations in Dubai participate in the National Day celebrations, including "The Dubai Mall", "Nakheel Mall", "City Center Deira", "Mall of the Emirates" and "The Dubai Outlet Mall", where they offer promotional offers ranging between 50 and 70% on products. Selected from November 28th to December 5th.

The "Gerard Daryl" women's fashion store in the "Dubai Mall" also offers promotional offers that vary between 40 and 60%.
