Granted, there are far more chic desserts.

Some even in the refrigerated shelf of your supermarket.

But this chocolate pudding is so simple it makes you nostalgic.

Warm, spooned out of a coffee cup, it is the perfect ingredient for an evening with a cozy blanket on the sofa.

Cooled down, it slips down your throat like a silky-chocolate.

And the best part about it?

It only takes 20 minutes from the first sweet tooth to the finished pudding.

ingredients

3 tbsp sugar

3 tbsp cornstarch

6 tbsp unsweetened cocoa

500 ml whole milk

50 g dark chocolate

2 tbsp rum (optional)

2. Slowly heat the rest of the milk in a small saucepan over medium heat.

Take the pan off the heat and add the cocoa mixture to the hot milk while stirring.

3. Put the pot back on the stove and bring the mixture to the boil while stirring.

Season with a pinch of sea salt.

4. Stir in chocolate and rum and distribute the pudding between four dessert bowls.

Or spoon straight out of the pot.
