Both parties accuse each other of assault, but the issue has not yet been settled legally.
However, Johnny Depp recently lost a lawsuit against the British newspaper The Sun: the court ruled that the newspaper had grounds to call him a "wife abuser".
After the trial, Warner Bros. poked the star actor from the role of Gellert Grindewald in the Harry Potter spin-off Fantastic Monster.
Fans want to poke ex-wife
Now Depp fans are reacting.
A massive collection of names has so far collected 1.4 million signatures for Warner Bros. to poke even ex-wife Amber Heard.
Fans believe that Amber Heard should be fired from her role as Mera in Aqua man, as she too is accused of assault.
Warner Bros., which produces both Aqua Man and the Fantastic Wonder films, has not commented on how the large number of signatures affects Amber Heard's position.
Amber Heard has no plans to leave the role.
