The "Dubai Fitness Challenge" has extended an open and free invitation to cycling enthusiasts to participate in the first-of-its-kind Dubai Cycling Challenge, which will be held the morning of tomorrow, as Sheikh Zayed Road will be transformed into an open path for cycling.

The challenge offers all participants the possibility to choose between two tracks as desired.

The Dubai Cycling Challenge offers families the opportunity to participate in a four-kilometer trail that welcomes all ages, starting from the age of five.

The second open track extends 14 km, and welcomes cycling enthusiasts from the age of 13.

Participants can start on both tracks at their own pace, as well as at their preferred time.

People of determination can also participate in any of the two tracks, provided that they send their desire to participate by e-mail to the following address: ambassadors@linkviva.com.

The four-kilometer family path departs from a place near the entrance to the "Dubai Mall" cinema car parks, and wraps around the "Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard" in the center of Dubai, where participants make a full course around Souk Al Bahar, the Dubai Fountain, and Burj Khalifa, before returning Finally, they reach the finish line.

Participants on the 14-kilometer route will drive along the main Sheikh Zayed Road between Dubai World Trade Center and Al Safa Park, where the highway will be open in both directions for cyclists only.

Free parking

On the day of the event, free parking is available in various parts of the area.

The parking information will be sent to the participants before the event according to the chosen participation time.

Bicycles must be placed inside the car or hung from the back securely, to ensure smooth entry into the car parks.

Parking spaces have been allocated for people of determination at the "Swiss Al Murooj" hotel in the center of Dubai.

The Dubai Cycling Challenge urges all those wishing to participate to prepare well for the challenge, as they must ensure that they are able to cycle a distance of no less than four kilometers, and bring their bikes with them, along with special helmets and masks.
