Like Algeria, Morocco has 10 points after four days of qualifying for the next African Cup of Nations (CAN 2021).

But unlike Algerians (and Senegalese), Moroccans have not yet qualified for "CAN 2021"

The Atlas Lions, however, have a leg and a half in Cameroon, after a 2-0 success ... in Cameroon.

A Ziyech still above the rest

It is indeed in Douala that the proteges of Vahid Halilhodzic won 2-0 a match against the Central African Republic relocated for the occasion.

The playmaker Hakim Ziyech was the big player in a game that was far from being mastered by the Maghrebians.

In the 39th minute, the Chelsea (England) player opened the scoring with a forceful free kick into the penalty area.

Nobody takes back the ball which bounces before finishing its race in the Central African nets.

Then, during the stoppages of play, Ziyech shelters Morocco by offering on a plate the 2-0 to Youssef En-Nesyri.

The Central African Republic remains in the race

With this setback, the Central Africans remain last in Group E. But, despite their 3 small points on the clock, the Fauves du Bas-Oubangui are still in the race for a qualification.

They will have to achieve a faultless against Burundi and Mauritania, in March 2021, during the 5th and 6th days of the qualifiers.
