According to the news from Guangzhou Customs on November 16, recently, Dachan Customs, affiliated to Guangzhou Customs, has seized more than 24,000 pairs of suspected infringement of cloth shoes and sports shoes in the Pearl River Estuary midway supervision channel. This is the first time that the customs has investigated suspected infringements in the midway supervision link Intellectual property cases.

The case is currently being further processed.

This batch of suspected infringing shoes was declared for export by an import and export company in Guangzhou, with the declared name of "unbranded cloth shoes and sports shoes".

Da Chan Customs officers comprehensively studied and judged the route, enterprise and cargo attributes, and believed that this batch of cargo had a high risk of infringing intellectual property rights, and immediately placed control and interception.

Customs officers boarded the inspection and found that the shoes on board were rough in packaging and workmanship, and the printed logo was similar to the three brand logos of "FILA", "SKECHERS" and "NEWBALANCE" that had been filed with the General Administration of Customs, so they initiated contact with the port Cooperate with the mechanism to transfer the involved containers to neighboring ports to unload the containers, and to conduct actual verification of the infringing elements such as the marks, specifications and models of the goods.

After contacting the intellectual property rights holders of the above-mentioned related brands, it was confirmed that the right holders believed that the shoes were infringing goods and filed an application for detention and submitted corresponding guarantees to the customs.

After counting, the batch of shoes totaled 24,272 pairs.

Since the beginning of this year, Guangzhou Customs has carried out the "Dragon Action 2020" special action for intellectual property protection, relying on the information supervision system, integrating various risk factors, strengthening analysis and judgment, accurately capturing high-risk infringing goods, and severely cracking down on import and export violations of intellectual property rights. .
