At 22:18 on November 15th, Guangzhou 119 Command Center received an alarm from the public that a semi-trailer on the Guangzhou branch of Shenhai Expressway was on fire.

After receiving the alarm, the command center quickly dispatched the nearby fire station to rush to the scene for rescue. It was not until the early morning of the 16th that the fire on the scene was completely extinguished.

The fire department arrived at the scene and found that a semi-trailer full of cargo was on the side of the road, with smoke billowing on the scene.

The entire car body has entered a violent burning stage, with a large fire, accompanied by a pungent smell, and no casualties.

After understanding the situation, the on-site commander immediately issued a combat order to immediately guard the site to prevent unrelated personnel and vehicles from entering.

In the end, after nearly 90 minutes of fighting by the fire department, the open flame was successfully extinguished.

The firefighters then cooled the remaining furniture in the semi-trailer to prevent the fire from re-igniting.

After nearly one hour of disposal, the fire at the scene was completely extinguished in the early morning of the 16th, and no casualties were caused by the accident.

According to the driver, the truck carried about 30 tons of cargo, the main cargo being furniture. The cause of the accident may be that the brake disc was overheated and the tires caught fire. After the fire broke out, the front of the truck was quickly separated from the body.
