An advanced prime-time show

Exhibits

is usually broadcast once a month, in the second half of the evening.

But, a sign that the show is exceptional, it is brought forward to early Wednesday evening, in prime time therefore.

Journalist and presenter Virna Sacchi promises "an eventful evening", which will raise the question of political responsibility and possible cover-ups in the management of this crisis.

France 3 therefore broadcasts from 9:05 pm the survey "Covid-19: what is really going on in nursing homes?".

It will be followed at 10:35 pm by a debate entitled "How to better protect our seniors in the face of the epidemic?".

"We show in the survey that there were a lot of bad political choices", explains Virna Sacchi.

"Were these bad decisions made knowingly? We will discuss them after the investigation is released."

"We are very happy to have in the debate the Minister Delegate in charge of Autonomy, Brigitte Bourguignon", adds Virna Sacchi.

"We will be able to ask him clearly if, yes or no, the choice was made to abandon the EHPAD".

Visits to these establishments having been banned in March, the

Exhibits

teams

could not turn until May 16.

Disturbing revelations

For Virna Sacchi, the investigation is interested in victims of Covid-19 for a time passed in silence.

"Not only were we not told everything. But, the first 15 days, we were not told about this epidemic among the elderly, during the daily press briefings of the government," recalls the journalist.

The deaths in EHPAD were initially not counted among the victims of Covid-19.

The survey is also looking at the issue of triage of patients.

"For ambulances, the watchword was to try to leave patients in EHPAD as much as possible, so as not to overload hospitals", reveals Virna Sacchi, without revealing everything about the content of the issue of

Exhibits

broadcast on Wednesday evening.
