A few days ago, Wu Yize introduced to reporters that seemingly simple miniature carvings are actually very complicated. Only leaf carvings are divided into water carvings and pierced carvings. Before carving, leaves are collected, soaked in water, and then treated with chemical potions to find a pattern. The leaves matching the pattern are also quite difficult. It is necessary to make full use of the natural texture of the plant to carve. The egg carvings range from quail bird eggs to ostrich eggs, and it takes more than half a month to carve.
