According to reports, citizens can use the application to scan the QR code at the participating premises to automatically record their travel records in their mobile phones.

These data will be cancelled after 31 days and there is no central recording system to record related travel records.

Xue Yongheng said that there are already more than 6000 public and private venues with relevant QR codes, including restaurants, bars, cooked food centers, markets, indoor sports courts, etc., and 18,000 taxis can use the application.

Xue Yongheng pointed out that passengers can record the number of the relevant taxi and their travel time in the taxi compartment through "Travel with peace of mind".

If the taxi used by a confirmed person took the same day, the app can automatically send relevant information to those who have this mobile app.

After the mobile phone is compared, a notification will be sent out so that people who use this program can understand whether there is a risk of infection.

"We will try our best to assist the public to use technology well and accurately fight the epidemic." Xue Yongheng urged all Hong Kong citizens to work together to fight the epidemic.

In addition, in order to further encourage taxi drivers to actively participate in the free new crown virus testing services provided by the SAR government, the Transport Department will add 7 temporary testing kit distribution and collection centers from the 16th, bringing the number of relevant centers to 11.

Taxi drivers can go to any designated temporary testing kit distribution center and present a valid taxi driver certificate to obtain a testing kit.
