[Explanation] On November 12, the 30th Anniversary Celebration of Pudong Development and Opening-up was held in Shanghai.

Zhou Hanmin, vice chairman of the Shanghai Municipal Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference and vice chairman of the China Democratic National Construction Association, said in an interview with China News Agency "China Focus Face to Face" that Pudong’s 30 years of development and opening up has taken the road, in a nutshell, with greater openness. 　　What has Pudong created today?

I feel that if we want to sum it up, I have created three words: first, passion, Pudong’s passion is behind Pudong’s speed; second, foresight, Pudong has always been positioned in a more distant future.

In the more distant future, in response to major changes in the world pattern and China's development stage, this Pudong has always been on the beat.

We have entered a new stage of development. We must implement the new development concept and form a new development pattern. This requires foresight; finally, determination.

So passion, vision and determination cannot be interrupted in these trilogy.

　　[Explanation] At present, the central government is studying and formulating the "Opinions on Supporting the Pudong New Area's High-Level Reform and Opening Up and Building a Leading Area for Socialist Modernization."

In this regard, Zhou Hanmin believes that Chinese idioms always put "demonstration and guidance" together.

　　[Explanation] Zhou Hanmin said that China must transform from building a well-off society in an all-round way to starting a new journey of building a modern socialist country in an all-round way.

In this critical historical period, Pudong must uphold the new development concept, namely innovation, coordination, green, openness and sharing.

Therefore, demonstration and leadership is a combination of words. Shanghai and Shenzhen, which is building a pioneering demonstration zone of socialism with Chinese characteristics, are both in the same position and continue to undertake the task of pushing China's reform and opening up forward.
