According to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, at the Automobile Bureau on the 8th floor of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism in Kasumigaseki, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, a male employee in his 40s had a fever symptom on the 7th of this month and was infected with the new coronavirus on the 11th of this month. Infection has been confirmed.
In the section where this employee works, another employee also had symptoms of fever and underwent a PCR test, and by the 13th, two new employees in their 30s and 40s were confirmed to be infected.
Both were close contacts of male personnel who were first confirmed to be infected.
It means that there are more than 10 other close contacts who are undergoing PCR tests in sequence.
In addition, staff members who are not close contacts in the same department also have symptoms of fever and are undergoing examinations.
At the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, all staff members of this section are on standby at home.
