On the morning of the 12th, three people were attacked by a wild boar in a residential area in Nishi-ku, Hiroshima City, and were slightly injured.

The wild boar was found nearby and was eradicated by a local hunting association.

Before 7:00 am on the 12th, the police were notified that "wild boars are sick" in a residential area in Inokuchi 3-chome, Nishi-ku, Hiroshima City.



According to police, wild boars attacked men and women in their 40s and men in their 50s who live nearby, of which men in their 40s were bitten.



The three were taken to the hospital and all were slightly injured.



In the vicinity of the site, sightings continued to be reported, and police and fire departments continued to search. At around 9:30 am, two and a half hours after the first report, a wild boar was found in the grass in a vacant lot near the site. The hunting club has exterminated.



The wild boar is an adult animal about 1 meter in length, and a man in his 80s who witnessed it said, "It's bigger than I imagined, and I think people living nearby were worried."



Police are calling attention to witnessing wild boars, never approaching them, and calling the police.
