This Thursday, the Pays-de-la-Loire region decided to relaunch its "solidarity food chain", she announced in a press release.

This operation consists of buying back stocks from local producers in order to offer them to charities.

“The second wave of the epidemic weakens them even more, the needs are greater with the onset of winter and stocks in sharp decline.

At the same time, the closure of restaurants and certain outlets are once again putting some local producers and suppliers in difficulty, ”explains the region.

A total of 400,000 euros of merchandise
