The Airbus A330 Phénix MRTT, the new air force refueling aircraft, is also a real Swiss army knife for the armed forces.
It is for example used for medical evacuations.
During the first wave of coronavirus last spring, to relieve hospitals in the Grand-Est of France, the A330 Phénix took part in the evacuation of around thirty patients.
Faced with the second wave, the Air Force is ready to renew these missions.
