[Commentary] Chinese story, international spread.

The 2020 "Golden Panda" International Communication Summit Forum will be held in Chengdu from November 11 to 12, focusing on the overseas communication of Chinese film and television.

In the era of integrated media development, how to use international expressions to tell Chinese stories well and let Chinese culture go to the world has become a topic of common concern for experts, scholars and practitioners.

At present, Chinese film and television works frequently go to sea and have gained a group of "fans" worldwide.

Zhao Yifang, President of Huace Film and Television, said that Chinese stories still need to be expressed in an international and youthful manner. High-quality and internationally expressed works are very popular overseas.

Chinese culture can be loved all over the world. Only a few years ago, we may not have enough creative ability, production ability and communication methods, so we especially need our generation to work harder.

The Chinese nation has always promoted culture, stories, and spiritual power, and then used modern, current, high-quality, creative creation methods that young people love to produce, and then spread it globally.

[Explanation] In recent years, as Chinese culture continues to go abroad, many excellent foreign directors have taken materials and filmed in China, and many Chinese-element film and television works from the perspective of foreigners have gradually emerged.

Takeuchi, the director of the Japanese documentary film "Long Time No See, Wuhan," said that China’s time-honored culture is very contagious. Many Japanese middle school students are fond of "Chinese style" costumes through online videos. China must continue to communicate with the world. The world also needs to understand China.

I recently filmed a documentary about poverty alleviation in Daliang Mountain in Sichuan and Daliang Mountain, so I look forward to these real stories to convey the true side of China.

Western countries, including Europe and the United States, including Japan, really don’t understand China. Everyone misunderstands it. So I hope that more real China will be communicated to the world. This is good for the world.

[Explanation] In the opinion of many experts and practitioners, the "real content" of the work can effectively promote international communication, and the short stories of ordinary people can resonate in different regions.

Dong Guanpeng, Dean of the School of Government and Public Affairs of Communication University of China, said that telling China’s external communication stories cannot be limited to the perspective and thinking of the Chinese people. If you want to go to the world, you must have a sense of globalization, cross-regional materials and diversified production, innovative Presenting perspectives show the real China to young people in more countries.

I think China only needs to talk about authentic feelings. It is internationalization. Don’t rush for quick success. Don’t hope that a big movie will understand me. It needs quality and quantity. We want some big movies and some small ones. , We need not only some grand productions, but also the stories of little people.

I think it will be a good result for global collection, global production, and joint launch.

It is especially important to tell the stories of young people. Young people in their mid-teens and 20s have a very real understanding of China from the beginning. I think it is very important.
